PHILADELPHIA-....A popular Philadelphia sandwich shop will be allowed to display "English Only" signs.

Joe vento, who owns the famous Geno's Steaks, posted signs that read "This is America: When ordering please speak English" in october of 2005.
On Wednesday, the Philadelphia Commission on Human Relations ruled that the signs did not violate the city's fair practices ordinance.
Those opposed to the signs, felt that they discouraged people of other cultures -from going to Geno's.
