SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Former Luzerne County Commissioner Greg Skrepenak pleaded guilty in federal court to taking bribes. Skrepenak admitted to taking $5,000 from a developer for help in getting a government-subsidized loan.

Skrepenak was the 23rd person charged in the corruption probe. He was released on his own recognizance. He's now scheduled for sentencing on May 12.
