Frank Guido was officially sworn-in as the new fire chief of Kingston on Monday evening.

He'll take over the reigns of long time Chief Bob Cannon who retired last week.

On Monday night family and friends gathered at the Kingston municipal building for the ceremony.

Guido says he's ready for the job, “Its a highlight of a 29 year career I'm just ecstatic they are giving me the opportunity to serve the municipality of Kingston ”.
