HANOVER TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY -- The Hanover Area School District accepted the resignation of a school director.

Anthony Spinozza pleaded guilty to taking $5,000 from a contractor late last month. He faces 10 years in jail and a $250,000 fine.

The school board will now hold a special meeting to fill the vacancy on the board. The board will also begin accepting applications for the position.
