Harshbarger Facing Extradition - Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at 4:56PM EST
Marybeth Harshbarger is accused of negligence in the hunting death of her husband Mark Harshbarger. They were hunting in New Foundland, Canada in 2006 when she said she mistook her husband for a black bear and killed him. Now a Federal Court Judge has decided that she must be extradited to Canada to face these charges.
The Judge said that Mrs. Harshbarger must surrender to U. S. Marshalls or Canadian Authorites by 3PM March 13th or she will be taking into custody.
Mark Harshbarger's family are relieved and are hoping for justice in the death of their son and brother. Mrs. Harshbarger faces 20 years in prison if she's convicted. | |
