SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Marybeth Harshbarger is now in the custody of U. S. Marshalls.

Harshbarger will be sent to Canada to stand trial in the hunting death of her husband. She surrendered Friday afternoon at the federal courthouse in Scranton. She tried to avoid Eyewitness News cameras.

Canadian authorities charged her with negligence in the death of her husband Mark in New Foundland in 2006. Harshbarger insists she thought she was shooting a black bear.
