HARVEYS LAKE , LUZERNE COUNTY - An outdoor burn barrel is to blame for afire that destroyed a cottage, barn and garage in Harveys Lake .

Six companies responded to the scene at Warden Place Thursday afternoon.

High winds made it difficult to battle thefire. Fire crews say embers from the unattended burn barrel caused the fire which is ruled an accident
