HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY-A holiday tradition is underway in Luzerne County. The Anthracite Model Railroad Club in Hazleton Is all geared up for its fall open house.

We stopped by for a sneak peek on Wednesday Night of the fantastic display -featuring scale model versions of life
In the coal region through the 1930's, 40's and 50's.
There is more than 500 "H.O" Scale cars and over one 1,000 figurines. The membership has spent thousands of hours working on this display.
John Simkovich, of the Anthracite Model Railroad Society told us
"Definitely definitely a Hazleton Area tradition. Unlike when we put our Christmas trains up at home basically everything comes down, put the house back together for 11 months and put train back up. Everything changes...Well this is a permanent layout.

The display opens Thanksgiving Night at 5 P.M. And will be open through the end of December admission is
