Hazleton Death Investigation

Hazleton, Luzerne County -

The body of a 30 -year old man is removed from a home at 33 South Poplar Street late Thursday night. He was found by police just after 7 pm Thursday night. An army of investigators are working around the clock trying to figure out what happened. They may be getting some help from Hazleton City Counicilman Joe Yanuzzi. He owns a computer shop near the scene.

Joe Yanuzzi, of Hazleton says “I saw nothing really out of the ordinary except I saw a moving van there 2 days or so. Somebody moved out of that property and it has been pretty bad. There was a drug bust about a year ago, now this." Yanuzzi says he saw a car parked in his parking lot that did not belong there. He adds, “Somebody just moved into the apartment and said they were allowed to park there and their not. I confronted him. He was Hispanic. I don't know if he's involved in this or not. He eventually moved his car."

Yanuzzi gave that information and the license plate number from that car to a Hazleton police officer today. We also saw investigators removing boxes from the house for most of the day.
