SCRANTON, LACKWANNA COUNTY - The debate over health care continues to wage on.
Nearly a dozen people protested in downtown Scranton Friday afternoon.
They say the health care bill, as it stands now, has anti-life features.
They're urging local representatives to make sure abortion is not in any bill.
Helen Gohsler, Pennsylvanians For Human Life said, "We want it specifically eliminated from any health care plan or we're asking our local congressman and senators to vote against it."
One of the protests took place by Congressman Paul Kanjorski's office.
He says he's been consistently opposed to abortion.
He's even pushing for pro-life issues to be addressed in the bill. | | |
