SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- Some students spent the last few weeks learning about the joys and dangers of investing.
Students from seven schools took part in the Stock Market Game Challenge, a 10-week endeavor that gave the students a chance to learn about the stock market.
They did by making mock buys and sells with $100,000. Tuesday the students were honored with a luncheon at the University of Scranton.
The team from Lakeland High School got the top award. They invested in a small unknown solar company and turned a make-believe profit. | |
