DICKSON CITY, LACKAWANNA COUNTY - Two people who led police on a chase, then took off into the woods are still at large.

The chase started just after 8:00 Monday night on Interstate 380 in Roaring Brook Township. Troopers say they attempted to pull over a Jeep Cherokee for a window tint violation.

The driver continued onto I-84 west, then I-81 northbound where several other police units got involved. The driver of the jeep continued off exit 191 and lost control on Viewmont Drive.

He crashed into a car with two people inside. Nobody was hurt.

Two people inside the jeep took off on foot. Even a K-9 team and a state police helicopter was brought in but couldn't find the suspects.
