EAST STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY - State police in Monroe County say a deadly highway shooting is a homicide.

Troopers say 25-year-old Antoine Leaver of Stroudsburg died after he was shot early Sunday morning in East Stroudsburg.

It happened around 2:30 a-m along the Interstate 80 Westbound on-ramp.

Someone took the victim to nearby Pocono Medical Center where he died.

An autopsy on the shooting victim is scheduled Monday morning at 8 o'clock at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
