WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY-A standing room only crowd welcomed Senator Hillary Clinton at a town hall meeting at King's College in Wilkes-Barre Tuesday afternoon.

She told the crowd of thousands she plans to tackle an economy on the downslide, and bring jobs back to Northeastern Pennsylvania. She also hit on a topic early and often: her staying in the Democratic presidential race.

Clinton said some of the calls for her to drop out are coming straight from the Senator Barack Obama camp. Obama was also in Wilkes-Barre Tuesday morning.

“Some of his supporters, they’re telling me I should quit. Well they don’t know that my father and my father’s family are from right here in Northeastern Pennsylvania and we don’t quit,” said Clinton.

Clinton talked to the crowd for about an hour, and then answered several questions from supporters.
