As you can see, there was a steady stream of shoppers. Some people spent the day returning gifts, while others were looking to get their hands on post-Christmas bargains.

Lisa Strose, of Ashland says, “I'm here buying some bargains for next year already. Christmas bags and Christmas paper, whatever I can find."

Mike Novack, of Pottsville says, “If you go up to the stores now, things were full price before the holidays, they're 1/2 price or even less than that, so you make out pretty good."

T his Christmas will be the last one for Steve and Barry's at the Schuylkill Mall. The store is going out of business. Right now, the store is offering deep discounts to shoppers.
