WEST HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY- Police in Luzerne County are investigating a home invasion.

It happened on Tuesday just after 7:00 pm in West Hazleton. Police said a man with a green bandana covering his face went into a home on East Broad Street and demanded money and other valuable items.

The victim grabbed a gun during the crime and fired a shot at the suspect, who then ran off.

Anyone with information should call the West Hazleton Police Department.
