Homeless Man Arrested for Car Break-ins - Monday, March 9, 2009 at 8:50PM EST

DUNMORE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Police in Dunmore have arrested a 42-year-old homeless man for a series of car break ins over the weekend.
Kenneth Kranick was spotted by police who were investigating reports of a man going through vehicles in Dunmore early Monday morning. Investigators say he was carrying a grocery bag which contained thousands of dollars of jewelry, coins, wallets and credit cards among other things.

Police believe he may have been involved in other incidents including some in the city of Scranton.

Kranick was sent to the Lackawanna Count Prison in Lieu of $100,000 bail.
