SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- They were all decked out in pink tonight for a girl's basketball game in Scranton.

It was the second annual Hoops for hope event.
The players and fans at the Scranton Prep and Abington Heights game donned pink.
It was all to bring awareness to breast cancer.

They raised 7-thousand dollars for the "smart girls initiative of the "Northeast Regional Cancer Institute."
It educates young women about the benefits of early breast cancer detection.
