PORT TREVERTON, SNYDER COUNTY- Two big rigs killed three horses in Snyder County early Sunday morning.

The horses escaped from their pen in Port Trevorton, then they wandered onto Route 11 just south of Chapman Hollow Road.

The trucks hit and killed them. Two horses avoided the accident and were not hurt. The truck drivers were also unharmed.
