Williamsport, Lycoming County-

Starting Sunday, a busy road will be closed to traffic in Williamsport.

Walnut Street will be closed between Louisa Street and Rural Avenue.

That’s in the area of the current emergency room entrance to Williamsport Hospital.

A new, temporary emergency room entrance is being set up as part of the Susquehanna Health expansion.

The health system has also set up a new satellite laboratory in the Hepburn Plaza.

Patients are asked to begin using that facility for routine blood work.
