Danville, Montour County-

Geisinger employees are working to develop new garments to replace the dreaded hospital gown.

They’re called medical modesty garments. They look similar to a t-shirt and shorts.

The garments are designed to alleviate patients’ concerns about disrobing for medical procedures.

They cover essential body parts, while allowing access for surgery.

Geisinger has ordered one thousand of the outfits to use on a trial basis over the next few months.
