Retailers are offering big bargains on Cyber Monday. According to the National Retail Federation 87% are planning some sort of sale or special deal. We all know money is tight --so I've got four tips to make you a savvy cyber shopper.

Tip one --before you buy a product research. A good place to find plenty of customer reviews of a product is . It's the largest online retailer so you can expect a wide range of opinions on the product you're looking for.

Tip two-- never buy it without searching for promo or coupon codes. These codes could save you shipping costs or slash the cost of the product. and has lists of codes for many retailers. But you can also just type in coupon or promo code and the retailer into a search engine and you'll find codes. Some may be expired though.

Tip three --compare prices. Just because a store says it's a sale doesn't make it so. Sites like m, will help you compare prices on the very product you're looking for. We're looking at a Sony Bravia 32 in LCD TV.

Tip four --Protect yourself. Buy only from sites you're familiar with --or are reputable. When a site asks for payment, make sure it switches to a secure site. You'll know it has by the url --it should start with https --the “s” means it's secure. And a tip use your credit card. If something goes wrong --it's easier to get your money back when you put it on plastic.
