KINGSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY -- A popular library in Luzerne County is celebrating a new beginning.

The Hoyt Library in Kingston held a "soft" opening Monday. A section of the library's roof caved in after a snowstorm in February of 2007.

Library officials say the Hoyt is ready to serve the community better than ever. Board Secretary Andrea Petrasek said, I think the library is a gathering point and with this new building itŐs going to be the jewel of the town and the west side."

The official opening for the Hoyt Library will be held next month.
