STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY – Hugo Selenski has been sentenced to spend 32 to 65 years in prison.

Selenski was found guilty of robbery and kidnapping in Monroe County in July. Prosecutors say Selenski and another man robbed a jewelry store owner at gunpoint in 2003.

These are separate from murder charges he still faces in Luzerne County.

The judge in the Poconos said Selenski is a career criminal who needed to be warehoused for the protection of society.
