A gruesome discovery in Hanover Township .

A neighbor on Loxley Street says he found a bag containing a human torso, in a gulley behind Lee Park Elementary school .

Arthur Ellis says, "I went over there, I zipped open a bag, and found a body in there."

At about 9:30 Thursday morning, Ellis says his dog was barking at people looking for scrap metal.

When he went to get the dog, he found what the Luzerne County Coroner says was a white male’s torso.

Ellis says, "It's too close to home, I mean, you know what I mean, I have my nieces and nephews here something like this right here, and it's right behind the school too."

Behind the school is where police centered their investigation Thursday afternoon.

They questioned neighbors, and put police tape around the scene.

District attorney Jackie Musto Carroll released little details

Carroll says, "At this time we have an investigation which is in it's infancy."

Late Thursday afternoon, the Luzerne County Coroner says the rest of the victim’s body parts were found in another bag, at the same location.

Carroll says, "We'll have a forensic pathologist take a look at what we have and start from there."
