Williamsport, Lycoming County-
The Lycoming County SPCA has seized dozens of animals from an alleged puppy mill near Elimsport.
Humane officers rescued 26 dogs, of a variety of breeds, from the property in Washington Township.
They also took two horses and noted a number of other animals living in filthy conditions.
We’re told most of the animals did not have food or water readily available. They also had little or no shelter from freezing temperatures.
Officials expect to file animal cruelty charges against the property owners in the near future. | | |
