SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Hundreds in West Scranton are still without phone service
Nearly 1,000 Verizon customers lost service Wednesday when a contractor cut a main service line. 300 customers got service back overnight.
That leaves roughly 700 still without phones. Verizon crews say they will continue to work Friday into the weekend, but some customers may not receive their phone service until as late as Sunday.
In the meantime in an emergency dial 9-1-1 using a cell phone. | | |
