Hundreds of Jobs Returning to Luzerne Co. - Monday, April 6, 2009 at 12:26PM EST
HANOVER TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY- Congressman Paul Kanjorski and Senator Bob Casey announced Monday morning that hundreds of jobs will be created at the Sallie Mae facility in the Hanover Industrial Park.
Sallie Mae is returning about 2,000 previously outsourced jobs to the United States. 600 of those jobs will move to Luzerne County. The company says it expects to hire for the positions over the next 18 months.
