I-81 Traffic Tie-ups

It's a traffic nightmare on I-81 in Luzerne and Lackawanna Counties. Three separate crashes caused all kinds of traffic tie-ups.

First, I-81 northbound is CLOSED at the Dupont/Pittston exit, #175. Traffic is being detoured onto Route 315 north, which parallels I-81. State police are on the scene. They say the road should reopen by 6PM.

In Lackawanna County another crash is causing slow traffic on I-81 north just before the Moosic exit, #180. It's been cleaned up due to the closure further south there should be no more problems here.

In Luzerne County there was a crash on I-81 southbound near exit #165 that was also causing slow traffic.
