He's back!!! Sonestown's singing sensation took Sullivan County by storm Thursday morning.

The overwhelming outpouring of support for American Idol contestant Aaron Kelly continues even after the show's season finale.

Lisa Skoranski, of Laporte, said, "We just voted away. We just wanted to see him be successful and I'm just glad to see him make it. It's nice when somebody's from a small town and they get to make it big. And we're all just happy for him."

Dozens upon dozens of fans showed up at the Sullivan County Courthouse to say hello, show their support, and grab an autograph from the teen sensation that put Sonestown on the map.

Perhaps no one was more thrilled than 7-year-old Make-A-Wish child Jaren Tilford, of Turbotville.

Jaren suffers from an immune deficiency disorder, but knows the value of giving.

He recently offered up a five dollar gift from the tooth fairy for his favorite idol.

Jaren's mom, Kerry Tilford, recalled, "He said, 'Mom, I'm going to give this to Aaron Kelly because I want him to know that he's special and I want him to not be sad because he got voted off."

So what did Jaren think of his chance to meet the hometown reality star?

Smiling, Jaren yelled, "That was the best time of my life!

Local officials also proclaimed that Friday, June 4th, will from now on be known as Aaron Kelly Day in Sullivan County.

Sullivan County Commissioner Betty Reibsome explained, "It's an inspiration to these young kids that they can follow their dreams and make it happen."

For the always soft-spoken Kelly, it was simply a chance to say thank you to the people who have propped him up on the adventure of a lifetime.

Addressing the crowd, Kelly added, "It was an incredible experience and I love all of you guys for putting me up there into the top 5 and helping me accomplish all my dreams. Thank you guys so much!"

Aaron's American Idol tour obligations required him to fly back to Los Angeles right away.

But we're told another big celebration is being planned for his return home in the fall.
