CARBONDALE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY

Pleasant Mount Welding Company in Carbondale is expanding. The company has purchased the Schoenberg Salt Company Building along Business Route 6 and will move its operations from another site on Dundaff Street later this year.

The salt company will stay in business. It will lease some space in the same building for its operations.

Pleasant mount Welding expects to add between 75 and 100 jobs in its new facility over the next three years. It will keep its other building and use it as its Corporate Headquarters.
