EXETER, LUZERNE COUNTY- State Police were back at the scene of a murder Sunday afternoon.
Investigators are still looking for clues in the death of Kimberly Burgess. The 31-year-old was found dead and wrapped in a sleeping bag outside at the Exeter Gardens apartment complex Saturday morning.
A small memorial flower pot was set-up by Burgess's best friend and neighbor, Ann Yager. “Ever since Kim moved here, we hit it off. She was a loving, kind, understanding... She's gonna be missed. My heart is empty," Yager told Eyewitness News.
Yager says burgess had a teenage daughter, went to school for nursing, and worked at a soup kitchen in Wilkes-Barre. Her killer is still on the loose. | |
