The Little League World Series prides itself on being a family event. And to that end, there's so much more to do here than just watch the baseball games. There are also plenty of other games you can take part in yourself.

There's virtually no such thing as down time here at the Little League International Complex. When fans aren't rooting for players on the fields, they can still find plenty to do to keep them occupied.

Noah Daniels, of Williamsport, said, "If you really don't feel like watching a game at that time you can come down here and hang out with friends and play games."

And there are plenty to choose from- sponsored by companies like Powerade, Kellogg's, and David's Sunflowers.

You can take a few swings in the batting cage, or try your hand at throwing strikes like your favorite team’s pitcher.

Brendan Phillips, of Ridley Park, PA, noted, "It's pretty cool just to use the real bats that kids use in the Little League World Series."

Denzel Cradle, of Williamsport, explained, "I think this is a good place because it keeps kids out of trouble."

Rhonda Maloney, of Birdsboro, PA, laughed, "Oh it's great. It's so much fun for the kids, and the moms."

The kids can win plenty of prizes, and it doesn't cost a penny. Little League representatives say the goal is to make everyone here feel at home.

Maloney added, "It's terrific. Everybody's so nice and everybody's just having a great time."

Whether it's your first World Series or your fiftieth, they've got something here to put a smile on your face.

Bradley Potoeskie, of Plymouth, PA, said, "I think it's just great because I've never been to a World Series baseball game before."

Bradley had some sound advice for everyone watching at home. "Come out, have fun!" he shouted.
