Some victims of a crooked Luzerne County Investment Financial planner are starting to get some of their money returned.

The I-Team broke the story about James P. Lake of Kingston.
He's the owner of J-P-L Financial.
And he admits to scamming more than 600-thousand dollars from his clients.
The I-Team has confirmed that some of lake's customers have already been reimbursed by the company that Lake used to represent..one woman received $150,000 dollars.
We first told you about the Lake investigation in the beginning of April. Clients had contacted the I-Team when Lake simply vanished. He closed his doors and refused to answer phone calls he vanished from sight.
Lake plead guilty on June first to fraud charges. He admits to scamming 33 people for some $600,000 dollars. We learned today, the company that he represented is paying some of that money back. Lake faces up to 20 years in prison and fines of up to $1.2 million dollars and he must also pay restitution.
