PLAINS TOWNSHIP- The Jared Box Project was started in 2001 by children at 'Our Lady of Victory School' in State College to honor their classmate and friend, Jared. Jared was just five-years-old when he was diagnosed with an incurable brain-stem tumor in 1999. Thursday, the Kings College baseball team delivered hundreds of Jared Boxes to children at Geisinger hospital in Plains Township.
