Vice President Joe Biden's mother has died.
Catherine Jean Biden fell seriously ill in recent days.
. The Vice President issued a statement that says his mother died peacefully surrounded by family. Jean as she was known --was born in Scranton. She married and had four children. The family moved to Delaware in 1953. No funeral plans have been released. Ms. Biden was 92 years old. | | |
