Robbers hit a jewelry store in Wilkes-Barre .
Two men were arrested in connection with Wednesday morning's Dunay Jewlrey store robbery.
He and another man were caught here on Stanton Street .
It all happened in George Levanvowski's yard.
"Oh it's insane. Lived here my whole life. It's weird when people are getting nabbed with guns in the back of your yards you know," says Levanvowski.
The search started when three men burst in to Dunay Jewlers here on Hazle Street .
They tied up the owner and two workers.
People who have come to the store for years can't believe it.
Debra Wolff of Hunlock Creek says, "Oh my god! Well i guess i won't get it fixed today anyway."
Wolff was coming to get jewelry fixed here, but not now, as the sign says "closed due to an emergency".
The owners didn't talk to us after the robbery.
Initial police radio reports said 5 men played a part in holding the place up.
State Troopers sped by, and police walked the streets with guns drawn searching for suspects late Wednesday afternoon.
This neighbor says she's on edge until everyone is caught.
She says, "Make sure that they got them all. Cause I'm afraid to go back because I have a lot of trees in the back. Places that they could maybe hide" | | |
