DRUMS, LUZERNE COUNTY- Two students
are facing charges after a fight at a school for troubled young people.
It happened at the Keystone Job Corps Center in Drums just after midnight Friday morning. Police said 20-year
old Ahmad Duker and a 17-year old hit two other students with padlocks in their
dorm rooms. The victims were taken to a local hospital with non-life
threatening injuries. Meanwhile, other students threatened and barricaded the
staff in an office. The fight was eventually broken up by police.
Duker faces several charges and was
taken to prison. Authorities plan to send his teen accomplice to the Luzerne County Juvenile Detention Center.
