PARADISE TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY Ð Mt. Airy Casino is looking to hire a couple hundred more workers.
The resort held a job fair Sunday in Monroe County. Mt. Airy plans to hire about 220 workers needed now that the state legalized table games. The Pocono casino plans to install 80 tables.
A Luzerne County woman who interviewed for an opening likes her odds of being offered a job. Darlene DeBiasi of Duryea said, "I'm interested in a pit boss, a floor person or a dealing position. I was a blackjack dealer in Atlantic City for 8-years."
The job fair at Mt. Airy wraps up Monday from 1 to 7 P. M. at the resort's Gypsies nightclub. | | |
