LUZERNE COUNTY - A Schuylkill Co. teenager charged with a federal hate crime will be allowed to leave prison before his trial.

Derrick Donchak , 19, had a bail reduction hearing in Wilkes-Barre federal court this morning.

A judge determined Donchak can be released provided he meets multiple conditions.

Donchak is linked to the July 2008 beating death of illegal immigrant Luis Ramirez in Shenandoah.

Co-defendant, Brandon Piekarsky, 19, was released conditionally from prison last week.
