Muncy Township, Lycoming County-

Some young chefs were honing their culinary skills at the Lycoming Mall Tuesday afternoon.

Dozens of kids spent the day learning about proper portion sizes, how to choose and prepare healthy foods, and the importance of exercise.

Then they had plenty of fun making fruit-kabobs with a little help from their parents.

The event was held at the Susquehanna Health LifeCenter.

Registered nurse/ health educator Robin Dawson explained, “We’re here 10-5 everyday, Monday through Friday. You can stop in and get lots of health and wellness information, healthy eating information for kids through adults.”

Susquehanna Health and Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania hosted Tuesday’s “” program.
