Lackawanna County Fatal Crash

One person is dead after an accident in Lackawanna County.
It happened on Interstate 81 Northbound between the Davis Street and River Street exits at mile marker 183.
Investigators got the call around 2:30 Saturday morning.
State Police say Melinda Bburton of Scranton lost control of her car.
She went off the road, hit a wall and went airborne. All three people in the car were ejected.
One of those passengers died. Burton and the other passenger were taken to local hospitals. No word on their condition | | |
