SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- Crews are taking apart the top floor of the Lackawana County Courthouse Annex.

Demolition of the annex on the Linden Street side of the courthouse started Sunday. Workers are scheduled to remove boilers and heating and cooling systems this week on the roof of the 2-story building.

Judges and court staffs have been relocated to temporary space during the renovation work in downtown Scranton.
