SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- They're still talking, hoping to avoid a teacher's strike in the Scranton Area School District.

Both sides are at the bargaining table right now trying to hammer out a deal. The big issue is the teachers having to pay $8,000 for health care coverage. The teacher's union says that's just too much.

If they don't make progress the teachers could go on strike for the first day of classes Wednesday.
