HONESDALE, WAYNE COUNTY – Some last-minute shoppers make it a tradition to buy all of their Christmas presents the night before. They say it’s more convenient and they find better deals at local stores.

Business owners agree. Many of them say men are more likely to wait until the last minute.

And they didn’t let the weather get them down. Store workers say shoppers arrived in SUV’s and Four-wheel drive vehicles to make their purchases.
