WILKES-BARRE TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY- Monday is a big day for stores and malls all across the region as the Christmas rush comes to an end. Many stores will have scaled back hours on this Christmas Eve.

Over the weekend the Wyoming Valley Mall which was full of last-minute shoppers. Many places are offering deep discounts to boost their bottom line. So far retailers say this season has been mediocre at best. They are counting on sales today and post Christmas business to help them meet sales goals.

If you are a procrastinator you'd better hurry as most stores will close by 6:00 P.M.
