ARCHBALD, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- A leaky roof is causing both problems and expenses for the Valley View School District.

Buckets are being used outside a classroom on the second floor to catch the dripping water. Ceiling tiles have had to be replaced and classroom walls painted.

Superintendent Joe Daley says he has called repair crews in on 6 separate occasions since August. The repairs told for a while. But the leak has returned.

Daley says permanent repairs will probably require replacement of a section of the roof. He is including that project as part of the budget he's drawing up for the next fiscal year.
