EAST STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY - Every year millions of kids write letters to Santa. He tries to write back to them all but he doesn't always have time to put his letters in envelopes with stamps. So he found some jolly people to help him do that.

Several East Stroudsburg University Student Volunteers will all be on Santa's "Nice List" this year. Santa asked them for some help. Since he gets pretty busy in December so he asked the students to help him send his letters to kids. Senior Cynthia McCann smiled, "Talking to Santa is awsome it's one of those feelings not many people get."

The students from Lenape Hall answer letters from kids who drop them off at the East Stroudsburg Post Office. McCann said, "A lot of kids were asking for a lot of different toys."

Among all the letters asking for tons of toys, some stood out for how little they requested.

One young lady asked for nothing. She said her parents didn't have much money and she just wanted to make sure Santa brought her brother a gift. McCann said, "It really touches your heart and makes you think about those kids that don't have that much at all."

Santa's helpers said Old Saint Nick will do his best to bring a little joy to every child.
