Wilkes-Barre- A former New York City Police Officer and his wife are the authors of a new book. Frank and Pam Lione worked together to write "Clear Blue Sky."
Their book is a work of historical fiction that features the main character coping with the events of the 9/11 tragedy.
Frank was called to work that fateful day and used his experiences to help develop the main character in the book.
As it turns out writing the book was his way to cope with what he'd witnessed.
Frank Lione, the author said "I think it brought back a lot of emotions that i hadn't... that I'd kind of suppressed over the years. It did help me sit there and be thankful. To thank God that I had been spared and that I wasn't there and my heart goes out to all those that have lost loved ones there. "
The Lione's now live in the Poconos and their book is available at any major book retailers like Barnes and Noble and Borders.
