WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY - A Luzerne County woman is turning learning about health into a game.
Harriet Clyde Kipps of Glen Lyon created a board game called "QUIZ-ical Fitness".
It helps players understand various functions of the body.
The board resembles a jogging track, game tokens depict joggers and the spinner looks like a blood pressure gauge.
Kipps met on Monday in Wilkes-Barre with representatives of medical programs from Wilkes University, King's College and Luzerne County Community College.
They're fine-tuning questions that Kipps hopes will help people make healthier decisions.
Kipps expects to begin selling "QUIZ-ical Fitness" nationwide this fall. | |
